Herb joined CIMS in 2007 as Controller and was appointed President in 2017 following a stint as COO. He spent more than 25 years in the pulp and paper sector and has a strong background in finance and operations. Herb is responsible for plotting and guiding our business growth.

Patrick joined CIMS in January 2015 with over 30 years of construction and project management experience, including key positions with Weyerhaeuser, JV Driver and Greenberry Industrial.  In early 2017, Patrick was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and has been instrumental in the growth and diversification of CIMS.  Patrick has also been a key contributor to the exceptional culture of CIMS, focused on safety, quality, service, and strong values, which has allowed the company to attract the very best employees in the industry.  In January 2022, Patrick was promoted to the position of President, responsible for guiding the overall strategic direction and continued growth of CIMS.

Shelly joined CIMS in 2014 as the Regional EHS Manager for our Alberta operations and has progressively advanced to the role of Vice President of Health & Safety for CIMS.  With a diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and professional designations in Canada and the United States (CRSP and CSP), Shelly is a highly recognized safety professional, visionary, and a natural leader who has helped lead the transformation of CIMS to a World-Class safety organization.   Shelly’s leadership has been critical in maintaining our people first culture as we have grown by industry and geography.

Margot joined CIMS in April 2022 as VP Finance with more than 20 years’ experience ranging from large listed to start-up organizations. Most recently, Margot served as CFO of the Smith Cameron Group, an industrial equipment & service provider with customers in the major industries across Canada. She is a strategic thinker and partner to the President, who enjoys leading and motivating cross functional teams in growing organizations.

Jamin joined CIMS in April 2015. Jamin’s career with boilers, maintenance and construction started when he was a Marine Engineer in the Navy. Jamin has more than 20 years of construction and project management experience serving the pulp and paper, oil and gas and power generation industries. Jamin is responsible for ensuring we deliver on safety, quality and performance commitments to customers in British Columbia.

Imre joined CIMS in February 2013 as General Manager for Alberta and was appointed VP Operations Alberta and Saskatchewan in October 2016. He has more than 30 years of industrial and maintenance experience both in Pulp and Paper and Petrochemical and Refinery sectors. Imre is responsible for all business operations in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Adrian joined Chemfab in May of 2015 and was formerly a Project Manager and business partner in Chemfab Industries. Adrian graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1996 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering and has been serving the Sarnia Chemical/Petrochemical Industry for 30 years on both the contractor and client side. He is currently responsible for operations in the Eastern Canada, ensuring delivery of growth in the division while maintaining the operating values of Safety, Quality, Customer Value, Performance and Integrity.

Kelly joined CIMS in April of 2002 as a Safety Lead in the field and was appointed Director of Health and Safety in 2015, and in October 2019, he was promoted to Director of Knowledge Sustainability and Innovation. Kelly has 35 years in industrial construction experience across numerous industries including oil and gas, pipelines, pulp and paper, mining hydro dams, communication towers, and structural steel.

With over 35 years of Oil, Gas, Energy and chemical, Pulp and paper, turnaround and maintenance experience as a Director Of Quality Health Safety and Environmental, Rob has worked with all major clients such and Syncrude, Suncor, CNRL, NOVA, Fortis, Enbridge, Fluor, OptiNexon, Paper Excellence, Canfor, Kruger, BP Amoco, etc. A strong quality assurance professional skilled in Integrated Management Systems. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001 Lead Auditor, Petroleum, Emergency Management, and Workplace Safety with aast experience in interprovincial Quality Program Registration and Maintenance (TSBC, ABSA, TSSA, TSASK, Etc.) ASME, National Board, DNVGL, Etc.

After joining CIMS in March 2013 as a Project Manager, Gordon has managed over 750,000 resource hours. Gordon is dynamic and results-driven Management professional, offering broad experience in Project Management, Technical Sales, Corporate Development and Strategic Planning. Gordon uses his natural leadership skills to successfully manage a team while working independently, achieving demanding objectives and deadlines under pressure in a competitive environment. Combines strong Construction and Power Generation capabilities with proven expertise in implementing solutions to drive business growth and improve bottom line profits.
